Presenting ARC's Second China Forum

Achieving Business Excellence through IT and Automation Solutions

May 18-19, 2011 - Beijing, China (co-located with FA/PA Show)

Over the past three decades, China has achieved unprecedented growth especially in the manufacturing sector.  As a result, China has become the second largest industrial nation in the world with its gross industrial output making up 50 percent of the country's gross national product.  China, however, still faces many challenges such as high energy consumption, high emissions, poor asset management and inefficiency.  These challenges are now creating a bottleneck for industrial growth.  The government, enterprises, institutions, and the public are all keen on transforming and upgrading China's industry.  Development models for China Industry must embrace sustainability with an emphasis on efficiency, quality, and benefits, while vigorously developing emerging industries such as green energy, recycle economy, low-carbon economy, and new varieties of materials.

Extension and improvement of automation and IT solutions is crucial to transform and upgrade China industry.  ARC's second China Forum will focus on important topics like manufacturing IT, collaborative operation, energy management, advanced control, flexible manufacturing, safety technology.  Co-located with the FA/PA Automation Show, the forum is organized by ARC and supported by Gkong.com and Hannover Milano Fair.  Senior analysts from ARC and senior experts from all major industries gathered here to discuss the crucial issues related to new trends in technology development and market dynamics, the best practices in industry application, and strategic choices in achieving business excellence.
